Constitution of The Dixie Fuzzy Fanciers Club
Article I
Name
Section 1: This club shall be known herein as The Dixie Fuzzy Fanciers Club
Article II
Objective
Section 1: Organized for the purpose of the advancement to breeding and showing American Fuzzy Lop rabbits, in District 6
Section 2: To improve showmanship and increase numbers of breeders of American Fuzzy Lops in District 6.
Section 3: To abide by both rules and regulations of ARBA and AFLRC at all times.
Article III
Membership
Section 1: Any person(s) may become a member of DFF so long as they show a genuine interest in the breeding and showing of American Fuzzy Lops and meet the following requirements:
A) Must complete application form and submit with the proper membership fee for 1 years paid membership in DFF.
B) Applicant understands cancelled memberships will not receive membership cost refunded to them.
C) Applicant promises to be an honest and reputable breeder, whose focus is to help others in need and to be completely honest when selling stock.
D) Membership costs are due with the submission of application and duration will begin on the day the Secretary/Treasurer receives that payment. Membership cards will be issued to all members with expiration date.
E) Renew your membership within 60 days of expiration to avoid the termination of your membership and benefits.
F) People(s) inquiring of membership do NOT have to be a member of ARBA or AFLRC, however it is strongly recommended and encouraged. Article IV
Officers
Section 1: The officers of DFF will consist of a President, Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer as well as 3 Directors as required by ARBA.
Section 2: The officers will be pre-appointed by those who have come together to reunite this club. Terms will be for 1 year and then will be eligible for a vote.
Article V
Amendments
Section 1: This constitution may be changed or updated only after all members of the board have come to an agreement and have allowed the members to vote, to change any policy herein.

By-Laws of The Dixie Fuzzy Fanciers Club
Article I
Meetings
Section 1: We shall come together for meetings during shows whenever possible to discuss future specialty shows and other plans. See your newsletter or the website for meeting dates.
Article II
Duties of Officers
Section 1: The duties of the President shall be:
A) To attend as many shows as possible and to promote our club as well as the showing of American Fuzzy Lops as much as possible.
B) To attend all meetings when possible. Section 2: The duties of the Vice President shall be to attend to any duties the President is not able to do.
Section 3: The duties of the Secretary/Treasurer shall be:

A) To keep records and dues current with ARBA and AFLRC
B) To collect all dues, send out notices of expiration or termination of membership.
C) To design and mail out quarterly newsletters for our current members.
D) To send reports and updates to our AFLRC district 6 director for publication in Fuzzy Tales magazine.
E) To collect all monies due from sanctioned specialty shows and to pay for sanctions, judges and/or supplies needed.
F) To keep a detailed record of all money for the club.
G) To make sure this Constitution and By-Laws are available to all members of DFF and any changes notified via the website or newsletter.
Section 4: Duties of the 3 directors:

A) To attend as many shows as possible that the President and/or Vice President may not be able to attend, within our district and afar.
B) Report news to the Secretary for publishing in news articles.
C) Encourage new breeders to join our club and show American Fuzzy Lops
