Fuzzy Lop herd reduction

I have come to a decision to cut back on Fuzzy Lops. I am far too busy to groom them as needed to keep them in top condition for show. I have decided to sell off about 10-15 Fuzzy Lops including grand champions. I still am keeping roughly 10 Fuzzy Lops to kind of... get my balance back and give myself a break with cage cleaning and grooming.
Many have already been spoken for, but please contact me if you are interested in finding out what I have left.
Additionally I think I will be branching into Holland Lops bigger then ever. I find myself enjoying them much more for many reasons. I am NOT selling out of Fuzzies, just cutting back for a bit of a break for now :)

Happy New Year to all! It has been a tough winter here. We're expecting snow and ice and super cold temperatures. My water lines have been frozen for nearly a week and I got another week to go. I am used to only having this problem a few days out of the year, but this year has been awful! I am looking forward to getting snow though!!
I have been trying to breed but it's just been a funky year. The bucks are just now producing and just when they are, the does have no interest because of how cold/dark it is. I have very few litters being born and am working on giving them more light this month. No shows for me until February or March!
All Southern: Florence, AL show update

Yesterday was exciting! It started out with snow at the house, we got about 2-3 inches. I didn't think anything of the roads being bad because I grew up in FL. The icy roads made for an exciting trip to the show. I nearly wrecked twice and saw dozens of accidents on the way to the show. Luckily everyone made it there ok, as far as I know.
First show I took BOB in both Fuzzy Lops and Hollands. Kim's Integra (Fuzzy) and Kim's Fiona (Holland.) Show 2 Kim's Fiona took BOS for Hollands. In Fuzzies Kim's Robbin (owned by another lady) took BOS as a junior buck.
I was also awarded an All Southern award for having the most sweepstakes points for Fuzzy Lops in the area.
Today I'm going to be breeding everyone. Even a few does that I showed, I got registered and they got the additional legs needed to grand out.
No more shows until at least February for me!

The show was very fun. I brought home 2 sets of stacking cages unexpectedly but am very happy with them. Kim's Domyoji (Broken Holland Lop SR Buck) took BOB of 60+ rabbits in the first open show. He won BOV in the second show also. So 2 more legs for him. BH Cary (Fuzzy Lop) took BOSV in the last 2 shows earning her first legs. I'm super tired and happy to be home. Looking forward to the show in Florence on December 5th.

Great show day today. I brought 8 rabbits to show. Kim's Hanazawa a broken tort junior buck took BOB in show one. Best Opposite was Kim's Integra (broken tort senior doe.)
Show 2 Shari's Fizban won his first BOB. I'm excited because he finally has something of a senior coat. I hope he keeps it up. Kim's Integra got BOS again in this show.
For Hollands I didn't do much in show 1. I got a lot of firsts and seconds. Show 2 Bastet's Sabrina (tort senior doe) took BOSV. Kim's Domyoji (broken tort junior buck) got BOSV. Both of these Hollands got their first grand champion legs today.

I had a good day today at the show in Lawrenceburg, TN. I took both BOB and BOS in both shows with Fuzzy Lops. First show, Frostbite won BOB again (she is 7yrs old! And again was pulled out for a 2nd glance over for BIS judging. Really exciting!! I did bring her home and bred her back to Korgoth, hoping for REW babies!) In both shows MM's Radar took BOS. I like this buck but his head is incredibly narrow. He has a rock solid body though. In show B, Kim's Integra picked up her for BOB. She also got BOV in the first show, earning 2 legs today.
In Holland Lops Sayanora's Bebe finally picked up her 3rd leg. She got 1st of 5 solid senior does and went on to get BOV. Kim's Fiona would have gotten her 2nd leg for getting first place, but a doe in the class was DQ'd so we were one short, oh well!
We get nearly a month long break until the next show, which is Columbia, TN on October 24th. I hope to have tons of babies in nest boxes by then!

Fair show update

Yesterday we had a small fair show at the Muscle Shoals fairgrounds. I carpooled with Rebecca and Bronwyn. It was a very long day, I didn't get home until 10pm!
It was still very fun though and I won BOB in Fuzzies with JM's Frostbite (big accomplishment as she is 7yrs old!) and BOS with Kim's Hanazawa a broken junior buck.
In Hollands, Kim's Fiona (bluetort junior doe) got 1st out of 8 junior does and went on to get BOV.
Next show is this weekend in Lawrenceburg, TN!
